29TH OCTOBER - 2ND NOVEMBER 2025 AT ROOKESBURY PARK, WICKHAM

DAYTIME BACKGROUND.png
The Legend of Spookesbury

Spookesbury has been famous for its hauntings each autumn ever since the 15th century. As the summer air turns to the cool breeze of Autumn, Halloween magic greets the rolling land of Spookesbury. Pumpkins appear, leaves turn brown and faint noises greet the corridors.

But when the sunsets and the moon rises, curious little signs appear on the walls with stories nobody ever remembers writing. Dark magic descends and as the legend goes, the real stories begin when the daylight disappears.

Dating back to 1500, the 600 acres of ancient woodland found at Spookesbury comes to life at night – and not by mortals. Paranormal sightings have been found and the air shifts to something more sinister. But be careful – make sure you remember your exits, and once the dark magic attaches itself, it never lifts.

Anyone found smoking or vaping outside of these zones will be asked to move or leave the area.
Will there be tickets on the door?
No, you will need to purchase a ticket via our website www.spookesbury.co.uk/tickets
How will I be able to move the pumpkin/s from the event site to our car or chosen transport?
We’ll provide wheelbarrows to carry your pumpkins to the car park using our wheelbarrow track. You can leave your wheelbarrows at a station outside the car park for others to use.
I would like to attend the evening but worried about the scare actors roaming?
We understand that many people enjoy a night out with great entertainment, delicious food and drink—without the scares! If you’d prefer not to be approached by scare actors, simply pick up a lanyard at the front entrance. This will let our actors know not to interact with you, so you can relax and enjoy the evening your way.
What clothing should we wear?
During the day, we recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing and suitable footwear—think wellies, waterproof boots, or anything practical for muddy or damp ground. While we're hoping for crisp, dry autumn weather, this is still the UK—so be prepared! We simply ask that all clothing and footwear be sensible, weather-appropriate, and non-offensive.

For the evening, open-toe footwear such as sandals, Crocs, or anything exposing the feet is not permitted for health and safety reasons. Please ensure you're dressed warmly and appropriately for the weather. If you're planning to wear a Halloween costume, please check our costume policy in the FAQ section before arriving.
